Victoria – Home renovation, interior design, garden – it’s all at CHBA’s 2007 Home and Garden Show, March 2, 3 and 4, at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.
Featured speakers are: Jane Lockhart, designer, author, and an expert in the world of colour & design. Jane is the host of the successful Colour Confidential on W Network and Get Color! on HGTV US. Neil Davies – known to thousands of viewers as the affable English Foreman on Life Network’s, Real Reno's. A former British Marine who gets things done! Shell Busey – host of the HouseSmart and Home Discovery Shows, and one of Canada’s leading experts on home improvement. Carolyn Herriot – Victoria’s own garden wizard will share her secrets on growing an organic garden. Jennifer Berkeley – Home staging expert from Urban Presentations helps you make the most of the space you have - condo, townhome, or detached house. Tips on pre-sale staging will help sell your property quickly and maximize your return. “We have a great line-up of experts to assist consumers with their renovation and design ideas,” says Steve Copp, Chair of the Home and Garden Show. “Our show has more than150 booths offering a variety of products and services, including audio/visual systems, floors, roofs, decks, windows, and heating and ventilation.” Almost half of the arena’s concourse will be occupied by garden displays and experts from the BC Landscape and Nursery Association. BCLNA members will offer garden tips and help give visitors a green thumb. In addition, award-winning chefs from the Canadian Culinary Federation will be holding demonstrations on how to prepare quick, healthy meals. Consumers can enter to win one of five chances to have “A Grand Brunch with Neil Davies” courtesy of the Hotel Grand Pacific on Saturday, March 2.
