Judges will award points for:

recycling, and other environmental considerations

Building envelope solutions and/or restoration

Functionality of floor plan and creative use
of space

Quality of workmanship and attention to detail

Use of materials (i.e. natural;
cost-effectiveness; unique)

Unique features

Effective land use and compatibility with
environment

Accessibility
-
Common areas and amenities
-
Access / egress
-
Target market acceptance (re: length of time
on market/confirmed sales)
The
average cost per square foot of construction, excluding land cost, must be
identified on entry form. Also
include a statement of average rent/purchase price.

Project Statement – In 200
words or less, describe the project and explain how it meets the criteria
listed above (bullet form is recommended).

CD, DVD or USB flash drive with six digital
images of the following:
- two images showing context in urban setting, architectural character,
building/project entry, etc.;
- two images showing principal living areas;
- two images of your choice.
**If a renovation, two extra “before” images may be included, for a total
of eight images. Images must be clearly named and numbered “Before”
and “After”.

print of front elevation.
**If renovation: one 5”x7” (before) and one 8”x10” (after) colour photo print.

One copy of floor
plan on 8 ½” x 11” paper.
