This award is given to the builder, developer, designer, or consultant of a project that demonstrates outstanding consideration to environmental awareness.

Criteria
Judges will award points for:

• efficient land use,

• on-site water/sewer separation from the grid

• alternate energy sources

• recycling

• re-use

• overall sustainability

• education

• other methods mitigating environmental impact

Requirements

1. Completed Entry Form. On-line Entry Form and Project Statement or click here to print the .pdf Entry Form to include with your complete submission.

2. Project Statement – In no more than 150 words, describe the project and explain how it meets the criteria listed above (bullet form is recommended). 

3. CD or DVD with six digital images of the following:
   - one image of before project;
   - five images supporting your environmental effort.

4. One 8”x10” colour photo print.

5. Copies of pertinent information such as:
   - site plan
   - mitigation plan
   - landscape plans
   - engineering plans and specifications
   - educational/interpretative brochure
   - list of conditions imposed on the project by local and provincial regulatory agencies
   - any other information to support your environmental efforts
