This award is given to the builder, developer,
designer, or consultant of a project that demonstrates outstanding
consideration indoor healthy living and energy saving considerations.
Criteria
Judges will award points for:

R-2000 Certificate
-
Built Green™ Certificate
-
efficient land use
-
on-site water/sewer separation from the grid
-
alternate energy sources
-
recycling and re-use of
materials
-
overall sustainability
-
education
-
other methods mitigating
environmental impact
-
Energuide rating
The cost per square foot of construction,
excluding land cost, must be identified.

Project Statement – In no more than 150
words, describe the project and explain how it meets the criteria
listed above (bullet form is recommended).

CD or DVD with six digital images supporting your environmental efforts.

One 8”x10” colour photo
print.

Copies
of pertinent information such as:
- floor plan and site plan
- engineering plans and specifications
- educational/interpretative brochure
- any other information to support your environmental efforts such as R-2000
or Built Green™
certificates.
