CONTEST RULES AND REGULATIONS

HOW-TO-WIN ONE OF FIVE CHANCES FOR A “BRUNCH with JANE LOCKHART” courtesy of the
Hotel Grand Pacific on Saturday, September 22, 2007.

1.   Complete an on-line email entry or an entry form at the Times Colonist no later than midnight, Sunday, September 16, 2007.

2.   Five (5) entries will be drawn on Monday, September 17, 2007 and the winners will be contacted at that time.

RULES

1. The contest is open to all Vancouver Island residents, aged 19 years and older, except members, employees and immediate families of the Canadian Home Builders’ Association and participating sponsors.

2. The contest will open for entries on Thursday, September 6, 2007 and will close at midnight Sunday, September 17, 2007. CHBA - Victoria reserves the right to change these dates without prior notice.

3. There will be five (5) prize packages awarded comprised of brunch at the Hotel Grand Pacific with Jane Lockhart on Saturday, September 22 and a VIP Pass for entrance into the 2007 Home Design & Remodelling Show at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.

4. Winners will be contacted by telephone on Monday, September 17, 2007.

5. If, for any reason CHBA - Victoria cannot contact a winner by 9:00 pm, Monday, September 17, CHBA-Victoria may, at their sole discretion, disqualify the winner and draw a new winner from the entries.

6. Odds of winning one of the Prize Packages are dependent upon the number of persons entering the contest.

7. The approximate retail value of one prize package exceeds $45.00.  Five (5) prize packages will be awarded in all.

8. Each prize package is valid and the winner must make arrangements for transportation on the date of the event.  The prize is non-transferable, has no cash value, and must be taken as awarded.

9. Each Prize Winner agrees to participate in all promotional opportunities and arrangements in regards to receiving the prize.

10. All winners must correctly answer a skill-testing question before receiving the prize.

11. CHBA - Victoria and participating sponsors will not be responsible or liable in any way in regards to the prize, or any aspect of the prize, not being available, due to circumstances beyond our control.

12. CHBA - Victoria and participating sponsors will not be responsible or liable in any way for any injury, of any degree, including death, in regards to this prize.

13. The decision of CHBA - Victoria in regards to the rules, and interpretations of these rules, is final.
